About Us

 

Hello!  My name is Loralyn and I am the person behind all these wonderful items you love!  I wanted to share with you  how Ellelle Designs came to fruition.

I graduated with a degree in Textile Design with a focus in accessories from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. However I really did everything as a hobby up until I had a baby in December of 2014. I did not plan to be a stay at home mother, but my daughter started to have seizures at the age of 3 months old. So I decided with being a stay at home mom, I wanted to do something productive and creative.

 

Ever since I was little, I have always been artistic and crafty. I like to try new things all the time and then end up loving them! Which in turn, gives me a new hobby or item to make.  I know I can't do it all, so I opted to hone in on a few of my passions and continue growing them.

I love creating and now have a way to do that! With now having my 2nd little in 2021, I have a little less time but have just enough to keep my passion alive!

I now dabble in a bit of everything; from beading and metal smithing to crocheting, knitting, sewing and skin care items. I do customs when I am able to, but my 2 kiddos, especially my little girl, do take the reins sometimes and being in a hospital with her makes it a bit difficult to do that.

 

Both kiddos are my inspiration and reason for creating. My daughter especially is my reason for creating my lotion bars and in turn, the rest of the bath and body items. Having to be in the hospital with her many times, I was constantly washing my hands. They ended up being severely dry and cracked. Regular lotion just wouldn't work because it would wash away with each hand washing. So my Har-Lo Bar came to be! She is my beautiful little inspiration! Both kids do push me to be a better mom which in turn pushes me to be a better designer.  I look forward to growing my business and my knowledge as I continue down this journey.
