Our Hippie Healer's Salve is a powerful blend of medicinal herbs, natural butters and oils that work together to speed up the recovery of minor wounds, cuts, scrapes, bug bites and damaged skin, while also easing pain, inflammation and scarring.
Starting with farm grown/wild harvested/organic herbs (non-GMO and no pesticide use), the herbs are infused for over 2 to 3 months so that the healing qualities of them are maintained.  The herbs used are known for their antiseptic, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antifungal actions when introduced properly to damaged skin.

Each of the follwing herbs, oil and wax have amazing benefits that make this salve. 
Beeswax is used as a humextant and adds a protective layer to the skin from external irritants.  Humectants help retain moisture, leaving skin feeling soft.
 
Pomace olive oil helps nourish and treat dry skin more effectively.  It also has a disinfecting, cleansing effect on the skin.
 
Cocoa butter-hydrates and nourishes the skin, improves elasticity and forms a protective barrier over skin to hold in moisture.
 
Arnica-may aid in healing wounds, relieving pain, soothing bug bites, treating dandruff and preventing irritation.
 
Calendula-has anti-inflammatory properties and can help calm redness, inflammation and ease skin discomfort.  Can also provide some relief from conditions such as eczema or diaper rash.
 
Comfrey leaf/root-considered to be an essential anti-aging ingredient because it contains both allantoin and rosmarinic acid.  Allantoin promotes the growth of new skin cells and rosmarinic acid acts as a painkiller and reduces inflammation.  It also soothes skin and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
 
Goldenseal-promotes healthy skin, relieves acne as well as itchiness that is associated with eczema and other skin issues.
 
Meadowsweet-contains salicylic acid which is a natural exfoliator and acts as an anti-inflammatory on skin reducing redness, itchiness and rashes; eczema and psoriasis.
 
Plantain-useful for healing wounds, inflamed skin/dermatitis and soothing insect bites.
 
St. John’s Wort-antibacterial, antioxidant and antiviral properties; aids in healing wounds and burns.
 
Ingredients:  herb infused olive and grapeseed oils (infused with arnica, calendula, comfrey root/leaf, goldenseal, meadowsweet, plantain and st. john's wort), cocoa butter, beeswax and essential oil (if purchasing the lavender).
